Wedding Day again today….and guess what…more rain! Grateful for the dry spells that we did get intermittently at the Thistle Haydock for Julie and Dave’s wedding. Tanya, Wendy and new guy Andrew busy at the studio.

Due to expansion we are looking for experienced freelance photographers to carry out makeover/model photoshoots in our busy studio in Lowton, Warrington. Working some weekends and evenings with approx 8-10 clients per day. Experience working in a busy studio environment will be advantageous. Applicants should have own transport. Another busy weekend at the studio, Wendy and the girls have done another amazing job, while Hazel and I were out in the rain photographing Charlotte and Giovanni’s wedding in Chorley and The barn at Rivington. There was lots of rain, alittle bit of sunshine, and lots more rain. Everyone was in good humour and we were grateful for the dry spells that allowed us to take some piccies at the fantastic Rivington Barn.

One of our resident make-up artists, Anna-May Ball, annamaymua.co.uk , has been mixing with the stars once again. Most recently Anna-May has been working with former model, Hollyoaks actress and ‘I’m a celebrity’ contestant, Gemma Atkinson to provide hair and make-up for the Sky Ride Manchester publicity shoot. “Gemma was a pleasure to work with. Although Gemma’s skin is near to perfect, I was able to use my airbrush to apply the make-up to ensure that I produced a very natural but glamorous, flawless look.”

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new makeover photoshoot brand “Beauty Pictures” and its associated website going live. With an increasing percentage of our work becoming focused on makeover photoshoot experiences we felt there was  a need to showcase it seperately from our traditional portraiture and wedding business. We will be developing many more packages and offerings over the coming months to cater for all tastes and the new website will be able to showcase this much more effectively, without diluting the content with all the other aspects of our business. We are still offering Portraits and Weddings as well as Commerial work to clients in the same way as we have always done of course, but as our business expands we intend to provide the makeover experience to more and more clients.
