About me

My name is Dave Bone and I am the owner, cameraman & editor. I started this company because I want to try and blow the cobwebs off the wedding video industry and make people realise what can be acheived with creative editing and the latest digital equipment.

Digital video and editing means that high quality productions are now possible at an affordable price. This is the biggest day of your life, why keep the memories to still images? Forget naff and cheesy transitions, poor muffled sound and wobbly footage. It will be crisp clear images and perfectly recorded sound because that is what the biggest day in your life deserves.

My films will make you laugh, make you cry but most of all make you realise that it was the right decision to have your day captured on film.

Equipment
		I use a Sony FX1 which allows me to film in High Definition format. Although HD is not exactly, 'out there' just yet, by filming in HD it will future proof your footage so when HD is mainstream I could, depending on the package you choose, produce a copy of your film in High Definition. Another advantage of the FX1 is it's ability to film in native widescreen, native just means 'true'. A number of cameras produce a widescreen image by stretching a standard 4:3 image to create a widescreen 'look' whilst this method 'does the job' it can effect the quality of the picture.

Sound -Your ears are more sensitive than your eyes, recording clear crisp digital pictures is only half of the production, sound is an all too often overlooked area of wedding videography. I have lost count of the amount of demo tapes I have seen with poor muffled sound during the vows, I take as much care with sound as I do with the pictures. For the ceremony I attach a small radio mic to the groom and during the speeches I have a mic capturing the ambient sound and a mic placed on the top table with a wireless transmitter attached to ensure the best possible sound recording.

Editing- The more control you have when editing the better the final result. I have at my disposal over £1000 of software packages from Adobe that will allow me to produce exactly the look you require. The key to good editing is to keep the film fast paced, not staying on one shot for too long and knowing when and were to add subtle effects.
